EP: Stares by E-Squared is a husband-wife collaboration exploring musical genres such as R&B and retro-style hip hop. The opening track “Getting Paper” is an amalgamation and explosion of gleaming synths, sparkling melodies, captivating vocals, and percolating beats. In the music both the artists (Ekko and Essentials) take turns to make their performance a duo concoct music that feels sweet, smooth, and sweet.
