Listening to Jehry Robinson is fun!…that is if you ask me about it. The use of the rhythms is app to make one’s heart sway. I feel this is what makes the album’s features. Jehry delivers emotional confessions with the dynamics and diversity of a one-man music festival. You can tell it if you close your eyes and listen to the songs carefully from where Jehry gets his inspirations from. Inspired musically by the likes of Eminem, Bob Marley, Black Thought, Macklemore, Mos Def, Tech N9ne, The Doors, The Beatles…the artist crafts a musical style of his own. I would like to add Maroon 5 in the list too. There is not a particular genre that Jehry sticks to.

He delivers bold intermixed genres on his Strange Music debut album 20/Twenty.

20/Twenty mixes reggae flavors, raw rock, rapid-fire rap, and euphonious pop into a boundary-bending 20-song set. Whether it be the emotionally charged message of “Daddy Issues” (ft. Jelly Roll), the island swing of “No Refunds”, or the blistering rap of “Daylight” (ft. Tech N9ne), he effortlessly bounces between styles.

Jehry himself explains, “I’m taking all of those genres and emotions and fusing them into one sound,” he explains. “You’ll get the happy side. You’ll get the depressed side. If there’s a reggae vibe or rock energy, that’s just how I felt that day. That’s the blueprint of what 20/Twenty is, I’m leveling up this hybrid and bringing it to the next plateau.”

As you can understand by the name, there are about twenty songs. You can begin in serial order or if you are looking for some beginner’s suggestions, then here are some songs that are recommended for you –
