Latin pop and rock artist Ratinoff makes a new musical debut with a new set of songs and direction on his debut EP, all of which are heavily influenced by 80s inspired rock and roll. But it’s more than you would expect from an 80s inspired musical taste, do not miss the new twist that Ratinoff brings into his songs, through his bass and drums, guitar lines, and powerful synth, along with a baritone of experiences about love, life, and living in the modern world.

Ratinoff Press Portrait

His love for retro influences indeed shines through his new set of songs. And his collaboration with producer Aldo Munoz and Grammy nominated producer Wes Sharon (Millsap, Turnpike Troubadours), had lead to the production of an incendiary, infectious, and inimitable spirit of its own.

Rationoff

Leading the way to the upcoming album he has released three songs and videos for “Run Away,” “I Need It,” and “Faith” with combined views of over 400k. Here’s a look into all the three songs –

Run Away

This intro song from his maiden EP has created a lot of fan frenzy. What has inspired him to come up with such a piece? We would like to hear this from the artist himself. This is what Ratinoff had to say, “ I remember listening to the Sex Pistols album Never Mind the Bollocks, and also another song called ”Beginning of the End” from a Punk band called ‘The Cockney Rejects, and it triggered me to want to write “Run Away”.

I Need It

A follow up of his debut song “Run Away”, this song has alone garnered over 114k views. Ratinoff shares his own experience that ultimately became the source of inspiration for writing this song – “The inspiration for the song came from an experience I had when I kept crossing paths with a girl I went to middle school with and always had a crush on. I avoided making eye contact, and I know she was doing the same… it’s that awkwardness of wanting to say something but not wanting to say the wrong thing and how that uncertainty can stay with you from middle school into adulthood”

Faith

Faith is another piece that comes with strong lyrics and deep meaning. The artist himself broods over how empowering the song is morally. “The song came from an experience of having faith in people that I considered friends but having to let them go because they were constantly letting me down.”

The album is scheduled to be out on October 2, 2020 via Creative Entertainment Network / The Orchard.
